Abstract
Introduction: Anthracycline chemotherapy (AC) is associated with impaired cardiac function and functional capacity in breast cancer (BC) patients. This study sought to determine: (1) whether exercise cardiac imaging is a more sensitive marker of early cardiac injury than standard-care resting left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF); and (2) the effectiveness of exercise training in preventing cardiac dysfunction.
