摘要
Stent underexpansion is a critical determinant of stent-related outcomes. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) allows for high-definition coronary imaging and provides accurate and reproducible automated luminal measurements. Prior research has indicated that vessel sizing using the external elastic lamina (EEL), rather than lumen diameter, can result in increased stent sizing. However, sizing based on EEL requires manual measurement and may be challenging. This study sought to determine the relationship between mean luminal diameter and EEL diameter.
