Joint and Soft-tissue Injections Of The Upper Extremity
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinics of North America(1995)
摘要
Joint and soft-tissue injections have a role in the treatment of localized pain and swelling and are potent diagnostic and therapeutic tools. Conditions of the upper extremity such as carpal tunnel syndrome, de Quervain’s tenosynovitis, lateral epicondylitis, and shoulder impingement syndrome are amenable to treatment with local injections. With appropriate technique, these injections have been found to be safe and effective. This article reviews the available literature on upper extremity injections and presents the authors’ methods of evaluation, treatment, and injection.
