Enhancement of micro-filtration performance for biologically-treated leachate from municipal solid waste by ozonation in a micro bubble reactor

•Using micro bubble reactor to improve the dissolution of ozone in water.•Ozone pretreatment did improve MF performance as compared to leachate.•Ozone reduced 55.25% COD and 30.22% TOC from biologically-treated leachate.•The enhancement of MF performance mainly attributable to micro flocculation effect.
