Scheduling maneuvers for the restoration of electric power distribution networks: Formulation and heuristics

•An approach to estimate the time of restoration in distribution networks is proposed.•Displacement times and multiple maintenance teams working in parallel are considered.•Assignments and sequencing of specific tasks to each team is provided.•Ignoring multiple teams and time requirements leads to poor quality solutions.
