WITHDRAWN: Genetic polymorphisms of pharmacogenomic VIP variants in the Wa population from southwest China

Abstract Inter-population differences in drug responses are primarily associated with pharmacogenes. Widespread researches have been focused on major populations, but less is known about minorities, such as Wa in southwestern China. The study aimed to investigate the genotype frequencies of randomly selected very important pharmacogenetic (VIP) variants and population genetics in the Wa ethnic. We genotyped 71 VIP variants selected from the PharmGKB database and compared our data with 11 HapMap populations.
