Screen Test And Analysis For Eis Design Of Liquid Immersed Transformer

Recently, high temperature insulation system has been adopted by the liquid immersed transformer due to market demand on reliability, safety and environmental friendly concern. In order to evaluate lifespan of transformer based on the evaluation of high temperature insulation material, a new evaluation process, dual-temperature thermal aging method has been introduced in the paper. At the same time, during the thermal aging test for Nomex(R) T910 (aramid enhanced kraft) and DMD(Dacron-Mylar-Dacron), the delamination of DMD has been observed, which bring more risks during long-term operation in the transformer.
