Abstract
•Single-phase phosphor Ca4Y6O(SiO4)6: Dy3+ for WLEDs were synthesized.•The CIE coordinates are (0.330, 0.339) for the optimal doping sample.•The CCT (5600 K) is close to that of the midday sunlight.•The emission intensity at 400 K keeps 82% with respect to that at RT.•The CIE coordinates maintain in the white light area in the range of RT-300 °C.
