In article number 1704274, Bernd Wicklein, Zaklina Burghard, and co-workers describe how a dual-fiber synthesis approach produces strong and flexible hybrid films by co-assembly of cellulose and V2O5 nanofibers. The self-supported films display reversible electrochromic behavior without the need for substrates such as indium tin oxide glass, opening up great opportunities for the design of smart, flexible optoelectronic devices.
