摘要
•1D-Co3O4 nanoneedle, 2D-Co3O4 nanoplate, and 3D-Co3O4 nanoflower were synthesized.•3D-Co3O4 nanoflower exhibits the excellent activity toward toluene oxidation.•The low-temperature reducibility, Oads/Olatt, and Co3+/Co2+ are crucial.•3D-Co3O4 nanoflower showed good stability for toluene catalytic oxidation.
