Abstract
•There is a credible agreement between the present results and experimental data.•The influence of incoming air pressure on droplet lifetime is not remarkable.•There is a quasi-linear relationship between droplets penetration and droplets lifetime at a higher air pressures.•With increasing air temperature, lifetime and penetration of droplets are reduced.
