•MOF-derived Fe2O3 nanocubes are embed into N-doping carbon nanowires.•Fe2O3/NCWs/CFs electrode achieves high linear capacitance of 12.44 mF cm−1.•Fiber device shows the operating voltage window of 2 V.•Fiber device exhibits flexible property remarkably.
