摘要

•A new irradiation capsule for pressurized creep tube experiments in the High Flux Isotope Reactor has been developed.•This design uses a thin, crushable, corrugated foil to bond the pressurized tube to the capsule, eliminating the need for liquid immersion.•Four capsules have been constructed using this design, containing pressurized tubes made from the reduced ferritic/martensitic steel F82H, heat IEA.
