MiRNA expression pattern of spent human blastocyst culture medium correlates with pregnancy outcome

Introduction: In order for single embryo transfer to become the standard of care for all, development of accurate, rapid and reproducible methods for quantifying embryo viability is substantial to ensure that the most viable euploid embryo is selected for transfer. In our study we aimed to assess whether extracellular miRNA expression profiles of spent culture media collected from blastocysts fertilized by intracytoplasmic sperm injection method can reflect in vitro fertilization outcomes.
