摘要

•Novel hydrophobic photocatalytic composite coatings fabricated by a facile method.•The photocatalysis of the composite coatings and the control was about the same.•The composite coatings showed stable hydrophobicity against durable UV irradiation.•The discoloration of MB on composite coatings was better than the control.
