Bioprosthetic Aortic Valve Use and Thrombocytopenic Conditions

After the use of bioprosthetic aortic valve in the early postopertive period may be bleeding, after a rapid decrease of platelet count increased blood and blood products is a factor increasing the morbidity and sometimes mortality especially in elderly patients. The aim of this study was to discuss statistically significant results in patients with low platelet levels after AVR in the aimed bioprosthesis.
