Hematological Markers in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome

Background and Aim: Lately the prognostic and diagnostic role of many hematological markers in patients with different types of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) have been demonstrated. Especially neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR) are recognized as important markers of ACS. Our aim in this study was to evaluate the role of NLR and PLR in patients with all types of ACS and the correlation between NLR, PLR and other markers such as troponine.
