Attitudes of healthcare workers to influenza vaccination

•The attitudes to influenza vaccination amongst health care workers were surveyed.•Large cohort of 327 health professionals at Canberra Hospital included in study.•We identified both motivating factors and barriers towards influenza vaccination.•We identified what areas can be targeted to improve future vaccination uptake rates.•We suggest targeted strategies to increase influenza vaccination uptake in the future.
