that there was no significant difference in the number of patients who were very satisfied (13 and 10 for before and after, respectively) and satisfied (12 and 15, respectively) with the therapy.In addition, there were no significant differences in the F-scale and gastrin level before and after the therapy; the median and 25-75 percentile F-scale score was 3.5 (1.5-11.0)and 5 (3.0-7.0)respectively, and the median and 25-75 percentile gastrin level was 275 (188-491) and 201 pg/mL (121-407), respectively.During the 8-week on-demand therapy, patients took 11 tablets/ on average (25-75 percentiles: 7.5-16.0tablets).28.0% of the patients (n=7) took vonoprazan on a regular basis (at least 2 tablets a week).Conclusion: On-demand therapy with 20-mg vonoprazan had an equivalent effect as continuous PPI maintenance therapy for patients with NERD.An increase in the level of gastrin, which is often associated with vonoprazan administration, was not observed in the study patients.
