Measurement of the impacts of the J-TEXT TBM mock-up on the toroidal and vertical magnetic field

•This paper states the installation schemes of the 1/3 scaled TBM mock-up in J-TEXT and the measurement methods of the spatial magnetic field in detail.•This paper focuses on measuring and evaluating the impacts of the mock-up containing ferromagnetic material on local magnetic field, especially the induced TF and VF ripple.•The measured and simulated values of the magnetic field coincide well with each other, verifying the reliability of analyzing and designing.
