Performance and meat quality of Nellore bulls fed crude glycerin combined with soybean oil

•The intake of the dry matter decreased with soybean oil inclusion, independent of glycerin addition.•There were no effects of oil or glycerin feeding on final body weight.•Animals fed soybean oil took in 40% more CLA and 32% more linoleic acids compared to other diets.•The addition of glycerin decreased the elongase index in the longissimus muscle.
