Abstract
in women with IBD.Correlation network analysis showed strong crosstalks between psychological scores and maternal gut microbial genera at third trimester but not second trimester (Figure 2).Conclusion Our results suggest that a more negative pregnancy experience for women with IBD is predicted by somatic symptoms of psychological distress as indicated by the BSI and higher parity.Higher cross-talk between microbiota and psychological variables was observed in stool collected during third trimester than second trimester.Further analysis of microbiome correlation to psychological variables is on-going.
