Developmental Trajectory Of Scalp To Cortex Distance: Implications Of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation In Adolescents With Major Depressive Disorder
BIOLOGICAL PSYCHIATRY(2018)
Abstract
Brain stimulation is increasingly used as a probe of function and intervention in pediatric populations. The distance between the scalp and the cortex is an important variable as the signal is attenuated by distance. To date, there have been no investigations of the influence of age on scalp to cortex distance in youth with neuropsychiatric disorders.
