It has been widely described that chronic stress is a strong risk factor for mental health in individuals that are genetically or environmentally predisposed. To investigate neurobiological mechanisms and pathways underlying stress-related symptoms of psychiatric disorders we used proteomics methods to investigate changes in a model of social defeat stress.
