摘要
Responses to social life events is a critical factor in the prognosis of major depressive disorder (MDD). Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), we examined neural responses to social rejection and acceptance. In a pilot study, we manipulated behavioral responses to rejection by using transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). These studies will help to identify novel targets for next generation therapeutics focused on adaptive social functioning in MDD.
