Abstract
•Infected Andean lupin seed is the main pathway for dissemination of the anthracnose.•Living cells and cell-free compounds from Bacillus have strong antifungal activity.•TLC-bioautography analysis showed the presence antifungal lipopeptides.•Bacillus treatments and cell free compounds reduced anthracnose to undetectable level.•Bacillus treatments increase chlorophyll and protein contents, enzymes activity on seedlings.
