The Usability Pilot Study Of A Mechatronic System For Gait Rehabilitation

A mechatronic system for ambiental rehabilitation of people with gait disabilities was developed. The system is in the experimental model stage. Users' potential feedback is essential during development of technologies for rehabilitation medicine. It reduces the distance between the image of the developer and that of the recipient regarding the needs that the new technology must cover in terms of appearance, ergonomics, induced satisfaction, interface, feedback capacity, inspired confidence and safety, comfort, utility and therapeutic efficiency. A usability study of the experimental model was conducted using the observation method and a questionnaire intended for this purpose, which includes the System Usability Scale. (C) 2018 The Authors.
