摘要

•A new three product hydro-cyclone screen (TPHS) has been introduced.•Both centrifugal classification and screening were used for particle classification.•A new product stream namely under-screen-flow was generated in TPHS.•No fish-hook effect was found in TPHS due to cylindrical screen.•TPHS has been successfully launched in industrial scale.
