A 20 ppm/#x00B0;C voltage reference cell using a low-power CTAT voltage generator

A low-power voltage reference circuit is presented in this paper. The proposed cell employs a complementary-to-absolute-temperature (CTAT) voltage generator using thin-oxide and thick-oxide transistors. The proposed circuit was simulated using a 0.18μm standard CMOS process. The proposed circuit generates a 0.963V output under a 1.8V supply. The temperature coefficient (TC) of the proposed circuit is 20ppm/°C from - 50° C to 100° C. The line regulation of this circuit is 5mV/V from 1V to 1.8V supply. This circuit only employs the devices available in standard CMOS processes.
