CdS Quantum Dots/Ti 3+ -TiO 2 Nanobelts Heterojunctions as Efficient Visible-Light-Driven Photocatalysts

CdS quantum dots/Ti3+-TiO2nanobelts heterojunctionsare fabricated via hydrothermal-chemical bath deposition method combined with solid-state chemical reduction strategy and exhibit excellent visible-light-driven photocatalytic performance, which is ascribed to synergistic effect of heterojunctions, Ti3+ self-doping coupling with CdS quantum dots narrowing the bandgap and enhancing spatial separation of photogenerated charge carriers.
