摘要
AbstractSimultaneous quantitative analysis of binary mixture of salmeterol and fluticasone have been discussed and compared in this article including two smart signal processing techniques namely Savitzky-Golay filters and continuous wavelet transform, two zero order spectrophotometric methods namely area under the curve and bivariate. All the methods were validated according to the ICH guidelines, statistically compared with a reported spectrophotometric method. Another statistical comparison of the obtained results by the proposed methods and the reported method were done using one-way ANOVA test. The results obtained by applying these methods show no signiucant differences between all of them. Signal processing methods transcended the zero order methods in terms of specificity and sensitivity. The only limitation is the need for special software (Matlab®) to transform the signals.
