Abstract
The productivity of the livestock increase with the proper and balanced feed intake. With the regular observation on the growing calf, the possibility to detect its growth, disease and future health are highly significant. In order to prepare food stock and plan diet schedule, we need to predict the feed intake accurately and precisely. Forecasting the feed intake of the calf is one of the important tasks for the effective planning and health based decision making. In this paper, the stimulated data of the cattle are used to assess and model the forecast to determine the feed intake of the calf. The suggested regression model can be used to predict and forecast the feed intake by using behavior factors such as Body Weight (BW) and Pedometer Steps (PS). And, it also can be applied to calculate the storage efficiency, identify any seasonal epidemic disease and manipulate the growth of a calf.
