Microwave-enhanced pyrolysis of Yunnan lignite for improving rich hydrogen syngas production

This study aimed to obtain the maximum possible gas yield and the high-quality syngas production from microwave pyrolysis of lignite. The microwave pyrolysis experiments have explored the influence of the using of microwave stir device and different coke ratios on gas production rate and gas yield. The results show that the influence of microwave stir device on both gas production rate and gas yield was substantial. Adding appropriate semi-cokes can accelerate the lignite microwave pyrolysis rate, and increase the production of gas.
