Linking jasmonates with pigment accumulation and photoprotection in a high-mountain endemic plant, Saxifraga longifolia
Environmental and Experimental Botany(2018)
摘要
•Jamonate profiling by UHPLC–MS/MS revealed the presence of five amino acid conjugates in Saxifraga longifolia.•Endogenous free jasmonic acid, rather than conjugates, correlated with anthocyanin accumulation.•Exogenous jasmonic acid increased anthocyanin accumulation in leaves.•Jamonic acid-related anthocyanin accumulation may protect, at least in part, S. longifolia plants from drought.
