Multi-branched Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair in Patients with Chronic Aortic Dissections: Technical Challenges and Clinical Outcomes

Aortic dissections frequently progress into thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms (TAAA). A compressed true lumen, branch perfusion from different lumens, and extension of the dissection into implantation sites can make subsequent multi-branched endovascular aneurysm repair (MBEVAR) difficult. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of prior aortic dissection on MBEVAR of TAAA and para-renal aortic aneurysms (PRAA).
