The synergy of SPR effect and Z-scheme of Ag on enhanced photocatalytic performance of 3DOM Ag/CeO 2 -ZrO 2 composite

Using PS colloidal spheres as the template, 3DOM Ag/CeO2-ZrO2 was synthesized by the sol–gel combined with the decompression filling method, which showed a good crystal structure with an orderly, open, transparent macroporous structure, and with a large specific surface area. The synergy of SPR effect and Z-scheme of Ag on 3DOM Ag/CeO2-ZrO2 can evidently enhance the photocatalytic degradation and water splitting performance.
