摘要
Purpose: For African American teens (age 15–19), the rate of unwanted pregnancies remains twice as high as that of their Caucasian counterparts. Our objective is to evaluate the African American experience with the Etonogestrel Implant (EI) regarding satisfaction, retention rate, effectiveness, side effects, and ability to influence peers in their choice of long acting reversible contraceptives.
