Abstract
Shafting plays a very import role in ship operation, and the safety and stability of ship's operation is directly depends on its alignment quality is good or not. Owing to the complicated force acting on the shafting system, many ship research units specify relevant ship shafting alignment technical indexes to standard the targets of shafting alignment. Various technical indexes (objective function) of shafting alignment are comprehensively considered and the Multi-objective optimization model of shafting is built according to the corresponding constraints and variables. And the Multi-objective Genetic Algorithm (MOGA) which integrated in ANSYS Workbench is used to solve the optimization model of shafting alignment. It has the advantages of simple operation and fast convergence speed, and can get the optimum shafting alignment state quickly and accurately.
