Burning velocity measurement of lean methane-air flames in a new nanosecond DBD microplasma burner platform

摘要
•A new burner configuration based on a DBD microplasma reactor is presented.•Characteristics of the new burner were studied using optical emission spectroscopy.•Burning velocity of methane-air flame was investigated using the flame area method.•Burning velocity is significantly improved up to 100%.•The role of the thermal mechanism on burning velocity enhancement is about 90%.
