Abstract
A gas mixture system based on mass flow controller is developed and a control system based on proportional-integral-derivative optimized by genetic algorithm (GA-PID) is designed to overcome defects of poor precision and long settling time of the traditional gas mixture. Firstly, the mathematical model of gas mixture system is established through the experimental modeling method. Secondly, an optimized GA based on an improved proportion selection operator, an adaptive crossover probability and an adaptive mutation probability is proposed. Finally, MATLAB simulation experiments are developed to verify the control effect of GA-PID. The results show that the GA-PID is superior to the conventional PID as evidenced by higher precision and shorter settling time.
