Experimental Research And Parameter Optimization For Speed Governing System Of Isolated Network Operation Area

The interconnection of power system is becoming larger and larger, and the operation control is becoming more and more complicated. In some special operation mode, the operation of the isolated network may appear after the fault occurs. If the parameters of turbine governor system cannot adapt to the special operating conditions, it will lead to the oscillation of the system. In this paper, a simulation study is carried out for a provincial power grid where there is an isolated network operation, and it is found that there exists a non electromechanical oscillation risk. Then the parameter adjustment suggestions are given.
