Dynamic hysteresis loop in a ferroelectric heterostructure

•Dynamic hysteresis behavior of a ferroelectric heterostructure are studied.•A parameter introduced to describe difference between two constituent films.•Triple loops of hysteresis curves are obtained by suitable choice of parameters.•It is theoretical guidance for designing the multi-state memories.
