Abstract
•Various Rh/POPs catalysts were evaluated for heterogeneous hydroformylation of 1-butene.•Rh/CPOL-BP&P catalyst shows the highest activity (TOF: 11,200 h−1) and regioselectivity (l:b = 62.2).•High regioselectivity was also obtained in the hydroformylation of 2-butene and butene mixture.•A remarkable stability was found with long time on stream in the hydroformylation of 1-butene (300 h).•Excellent catalytic performance could be attributed to a synergetic effect between PPh3 and biphephos moieties.
