Abstract
Background: Differential diagnosis of Parkinson's disease (PD), and multiple system atrophy (MSA) is often difficult, especially in the early stages of parkinsonian syndromes. Autonomic nervous function tests such as the pupillary drug reaction, the thermoregulatory sweat test, the head-up tilt test, and urodynamic test have been performed to distinguish them, but are likely to be complicated and time-consuming. KIRITSU MEIJIN® (Crosswell Co., Inc.) is a device used for executing the autonomic reflex orthostatic tolerance test.
