摘要
•An enhanced strategy for ultraprecise single inverted point cutting (USPIC) was developed.•The novel retroreflective array has demonstrated optical performance comparable with that of the conventional geometry.•The typical surface quality of the USPIC-generated RTP facets had an average surface roughness of 142nm.•Cutting force profiles associated with USPIC revealed strong correlations with the overall kinematics of the process, with cutting force peaks of approximately 5.3N.
