Abstract

Background: Endovascular treatment (EVT) for acute ischemic stroke caused by large vessel occlusion is based upon recent clinical trials with separate patient selection criteria and unclear screening logs. The external validity of these trials to clinical practice is assumed to be high, but has not been compared in a retrospective format.
