Abstract
In this paper, we proposed a bandwidth-variable TWDM access network structure which could simultaneously support upstream, downstream and peer-to-peer (PtP) communication directly inter ONUs based on the LCoS-based tunable bandwidth WSS in RN. The WSS improve the network flexibility due to its scalable technology and programmable filtering characteristics. Equivalent experiments are performed to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
