The combination of carbohydrases and phytase to improve nutritional value and non-starch polysaccharides degradation for growing pigs fed diets with or without wheat bran

•Carbohydrases addition improved fiber degradation at the small intestine, but not total tract digestibility of fiber.•The characteristics of fiber were modified by carbohydrases supplementation at the small intestine.•Successful use of the combination of carbohydrases and phytase is dependent on the dietary substrate.
