With the development of clean energy technology, the electric-power industry, as a major source of carbon emission and pollution, also needs to continuously escalate and update existing technologies to achieve economic and environmental balance. Gas-electric hybrid system based on the traditional power system, combined with natural gas power generation technology, effectively reduces the pollutant emissions. This paper proposes the mathematical model of the gas-electric hybrid system and establishes a uniform Jacobian matrix by the Newton-Raphson method to analyse the influence of the coupling factors, especially the compressors, on the operation of the hybrid system. Finally, according to the results, some reasonable operation recommendations are made for the gas-electric hybrid system.
