摘要
Millennials have access to online resources vastly beyond what their parents had, and beyond what some teachers even understand. In most cases, children are more technologically advanced than adults, so(therefore) adults feel intimidated and refrain from enforcing rules that are imperative to protect their children as they access resources online. Amidst the increase in cybercrimes globally, Kenyan children are becoming potential targets on the internet as the country struggles with a feeble Children's Act 2001 which fails to provide sufficient protection to victims as well as stringent penalties to the offenders. The Children's Act 2001 which safeguards the child from both physical and psychological abuse, does not provide sufficient provisions to protect the child from cybercrimes such as cyber bullying, pornography, lottery scams, pseudo-attacks among others. This paper illustrates the importance of a mobile game application designed specifically for children, teachers and parents to educate them on Cyber safety.
